Morbark 3400 XT horizontal grinder supplied to podolsk
The 800-strong monster will work on the processing of wood waste into chips for the furniture industry.
Morbark 3400 XT, the first ihorizontal grinder in Russia, was supplied to Podolsk to a wood waste processing plant. The grinder will be used to shred waste wood and produce wood chips.

Morbark 3400 was acquired by our client as part of the production modernization: the American will replace the primary shredder + secondary shredder at the site. The Morbark replaces both types of shredders with its powerful Caterpillar C18 engine and a special design of the shredding drum with fixed hammers. Together with the horizontal loading, this allows you to work with any type of wood, from pallets to whole logs and stumps.

The machine capacity is over 300 cubic meters of finished products per hour. Thus, the Morbark 3400 is able to replace 2-3 sets of primary and secondary shredders.

Morbark 3400 is mounted on a self-propelled tracked chassis and is able to independently move around the production site.
